Flight Assembled Architecture

Now this is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while.

I’ve seen some really big technology in mine site automation at AIMEX in response to high labour costs from labour shortages and high risk underground extraction activities.

I’ve seen robots in containers laying bricks. Limited by the shipping containers location and the reach of its arm. See blog below.

Now I see small robots constructing buildings. Australia has a high labour cost ratio to material when it comes to paying for most trades. Up to 70% in some trades like bricklaying. This technology can challenge that equation, and together with the potential it opens up in design character, has got to be cash cow for the first to market.

A brickies ute. No dogs. 2 brick preparation tables. 10 choppers. Nice work.
